William Kaus

William (Bill) Kaus, 73, of Freeman passed away on August 19th at his home under hospice care. In accordance with Bill's wishes, no services will be held. 

William Kaus was born 11-25-1950 to Charles and Carrie Kaus in Mitchell, SD. Bill married Louise Gronsk in June of 1973. This union was blessed with 3 sons; Timothy, Christopher, and Nathaniel.

Bill was a career military man, serving his country from 1970 to 1992. He saw combat in Vietnam and Desert Storm.

Bill married Jeanette Walklin in 1996.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Jeanette, his sons; Timothy of Oregon, Chris (Angela) of Utah, Nate (Emily) of Texas, stepchildren; Jeff Walklin of Sioux Falls, Beth (Byron) Schaefer of California, John Walklin of Sioux Falls, Noel (Steve) Ahlers of Mitchell, his brother David Butcher (Joan) of Arizona, and sister Karen (Bob) Pidde of Freeman.
